Very early 1601/8 gold Datejust dating to 1961. This example remains in excellent condition and comes part of a complete set including papers (September 27 1961 retail date), serial tag, box and Rolex service card from 1968. This early example features an early version of the fluted bezel, sword hands and a clean pie pan dial.
