1969 Heuer Ref. 2447SN Carrera
This Heuer Ref. 2447SN is an absolute standout in the world of vintage chronographs, and one that I’ve been after for a long time. Featuring one of the most remarkable dial and handset combinations I’ve ever seen, the dial has aged into a breathtaking champagne hue, with a vibrant golden patina that adds a touch of warmth and richness to its already iconic aesthetic. The sub-dials retain their crisp detailing, perfectly contrasting the rich tones that have developed over time.
The case on the example remains in excellent condition and appears to remain unpolished. The sharp, well-preserved lugs and defined edges suggest it has lived a gentle life, making it an ideal candidate for the dial transplant it received (looks like this case appeared on the market in 2015 featuring a silver dial).
Completing this masterpiece is its original Heuer Gay Frères bracelet, stamped 3/69, offering both comfort and a period-correct finishing touch.

This 2447SN embodies everything that makes vintage Heuer watches so special: a sublime dial, robust movement, and a case that exudes timeless elegance. I think these Heuer’s represent a huge value considering where comparable 6239 Daytonas (same movement and dial manufacturer) are trading.
