MK II Rolex 1655 Explorer II In the world of vintage Rolex the 1655 is all too often overshadowed by GMTs and Subs, and that’s a shame. Funky in all the right ways the 1655, aka the “Steve McQueen”, is a joy to wear and is sure to spark conversation. This particular example, a MK II variant, features a remarkable dial and case/bezel have been beautifully refinished. Case is thick and bezel is clean. Correct open 6/9 silver dated wheel. Comes on later 78360 Р12 links total. Please not, as seen in last picture, the serial number has pretty much worn away due to an ill fitting bracelet. While not ideal, the rest of the package is quite appealing and is priced accordingly. For those looking for a great piece to enjoy at an approachable price point this example is a great option.
